This leaves 10 names that we have been unable to contact

despite considerable efforts. This may be either because they

have gone out of business or changed address. The fact that a

company or firm no longer exists does not affect the right of

an applicant to gain points under the scheme, provided of

course that it once existed and that it employed the

applicant.

We are asking Hong Kong if they would like us to

make one last attempt to find these companies by placing an advertisement in the national press. If this is done, and

bears fruit, there may be a further submission on this

subject.
