Recommendation

2. I recommend that Mr Goodlad approves the lists so that

they can go forward to the Governor in the usual way. A

Departmental Legal Adviser has been consulted.

Background

3. This is the last of a series of lists of British companies

and firms to be submitted for Ministerial approval as British

Undertakings in Hong Kong under the British Nationality (Hong

Kong) Selection Order 1990. We last submitted such a list on

20 March. Applicants under the Scheme who are connected with

such Undertakings are eligible for extra points.
