I have a number of amendments to suggest to your draft reply. I have reworked the second page of your draft reply and it is attached. I also attach your first page with manuscript amendments which I have made to it.

2.

I have not inserted a paragraph on JD233 in the draft reply. I refer to it in passing in the penultimate paragraph of the attached redrafted second page. I do not think there is a need to put in anything more about JD233, subject to your views. We need to go into JD234 simply to correct Lord Geddes's misunderstanding.
