1. I think I should let you know that, despite all your correct instructions, the communications people in London are still not sending faxes on our secure fax line: they continue to travel via Government House. I enclose your facsimile document leader from the fax we received this morning: you will see that it states clearly on it that the fax is to be held until it could be sent direct to our secure fax number. It was not held: it arrived from Government House this morning with our telegrams. I have no reason to think that it was sent anywhere else, but the risk clearly exists.

2. I do not know what is to be done about this: unless the communications people in London can get their act together, our only secure means of contact with you is going to be permanently compromised.
