During his visit Mr Goodlad will meet several of the key people and gain impressions. The Governor said he would like to know our views, eg on the possible benefits of an initiative to set up a Science Park.

Next steps might include a visit to Hong Kong by the Chief Scientist or Chief Scientific Adviser to the DTI, to act as a catalyst. A conference in December being organised by the HKG to discuss Science Parks in the Far. Bast would provide a peģ.
