As you will know, my Secretary of State intends to undertake an inward investment mission to North America and the Far East between 20 September and 7.October my letter of 30 April refers. Plans for this are well in hand.

On the way back from Japan, my Secretary of State plans to have a stopover in Hong Kong on 5-6 October, when he would propose to have discussions about prospects for inward investment to Wales and perhaps visit some potential investors such as the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank.

I should be grateful if you could let me know whether the Foreign Secretary is content with this addition to the programme.
