I am writing to place on record my thanks for the time and trouble

you took in organising my visits to Hong Kong and Singapore. The

visits were an unqualified success and I brought back for further

study a number of legislative measures and database applications. We will be looking carefully at all of these possibilities.

I have written to almost 100 persons in Hong Kong, Australia and "Singapore including Sir David Ford and Mike Mitchell thanking

each for helping to ensure my visits were both productive and

enjoyable.

I have many exciting and pleasant memories of Hong Kong and Singapore including my trip round Hong Kong harbour and a day spent

at the Sentosa Park and many enjoyable meals in both countries.
