UK/JAPAN TALKS ON ASIAN SECURITY MATTERS

In my minute of 22 May on the UK/Japan talks on Asian Security on 2 June, I suggested that members of your departments might wish to join in the relevant sessions of the talks. I have now attached a schedule of approximate timings for the talks, together with details of the venues for both the talks and the lunch (Mr Stewart and Mr Wye I understand have kindly agreed to attend the latter).

2. Unless you have done so already, I should be grateful if you would inform Miss Painting (on 270 2957) if any of your department intend to attend specific sessions of the talks.
