I have a few questions that I would like to ask you. Specifically, I would like to know whether Ms.

as a resident of a British colony, has any specific rights to consular access and representation. I know of Hong Kong journalists who have either been expelled or denied access to the mainland, but I cannot recall one being arrested. Is there a precedent for treating her as a Chinese citizen? I further understand that Embassy officials have been refused permission to see Ms case and do you know where she is being held? There is speculation that Ms.

's detention relates to the Express publication of Jiang Zernin's speech before the Fourteenth Party Congress. Has this been confirmed? And finally, can you tell me whether she has been formally arraigned?
