As you know, Martin Dinham and Edward Llewellyn will arrive in Hong Kong on 5 July. I will arrange for them to be met at the airport and taken to the Hilton Hotel, where they will be staying initially. nearest hotel to Government House.)

I cnclose a draft programme for the two of them for the three days before Mr. Patten's arrival in Hong Kong. The meetings on the morning of 6 July will cover any outstanding personnel matters and the question of accommodation. Thereafter, we have intentionally left some spare time at the beginning and end of each day.

I will be grateful for any comments that Mr. Patten, Edward Llewellyn or Martin Dinham (who has left Bangkok today for London) may have on the programme.
