1. Thank you for your letter of 27 October.

Unfortunately it will not be possible for Count Lambsdorff to see the Governor on 18 November as the Governor will not be in Hong Kong during that week. I am not sure how long Count Lambsdorff will be staying in Hong Kong and whether it might be possible to arrange an appointment after the Governor returns.

I am copying our correspondence to the Hong Kong Government Office in Brussels as they will be liaising with Government House on Count Lambsdorff's visit.
