THE PTA
The school is particularly fortunate to have an active Parent-Teacher Association which not only provides marvellous financial support for the school to enable it to maintain the standard of its material provision, but also provides a host of services involving parent volunteers; the Sick Room, the School Bus Service, the School Fair, the PTA Bookshop, the PTA Newsletter, the School Directory, etc. Details of the PTA are supplied in an enclosure and parents are asked to contact the association.
The P.T.A. supports and funds Island School's participation in inter school sport. It also works closely with the Student Union and supports it financially.
