As I explained on the phone, once Mr. Patten has arrived in Hong Kong, we will need official CVs for him and Mrs Patten. Large numbers of these are given out regularly by Government House and the Information Services Department for a wide variety of reasons. need to adjust Mr. Patten's existing CV to include a reference to his taking up the position of Governor. Both CVS also need slight amendments so that they can be used over a period of time. For example, we should not refer to the ages of the girls but rather to their dates of birth.
