I have agreed with Mr Ricketts that PSD should submit answers to these Questions, since they relate to the three Questions put

down by Mr Bruce Grocott MP last week. I submit draft answers.

2. We do not have details of the expenditure which is the

responsibility of the Hong Kong Government: this is not the FCO's business. Nor is it possible to quantify the amounts spent on bird feathers, etc (Question No 55). But figures for total expenditure by the FCO on gubernatorial and diplomatic uniforms have been

collated in the time available.
