AUTHENTICATION

in accordance with Article 9,

(1) Any document that, accompanies a request for surrender shall be admitted in

evidence, if authenticated,

in any

any proceedings

in

the

jurisdiction of the requested Party.

(2) A document is authenticated for the purposes of this

Agreement if:

(a) it purports to be signed or certified by a Judge,

(b)

Magistrate or

other

officer

authorized

by

the

requesting Party; and

it purports to be sealed with an official or public seal of the requesting Party or of an officer of the

requesting Party.
