Amend the Immigration Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1.

Short title

This Ordinance may be cited as the Immigration (Amendment)

Ordinance 1992.

Annex A

2. Special conditions of stay regarding

Vietnamese refugees

Section 13A of the Immigration Ordinance (Cap. 115) is amended

(a) in subsection (1) by repealing everything after

"elsewhere" and substituting a full stop; and

(b) by repealing subsections (6) to (11).

3.

Appeals against warrants of detention

Section 13B is repealed.

Lawfulness of detention

4.

Section 13 BA is repealed.

5.

Designation of refugee centres

Section 13C is amended

-

(a) in subsection (1) by repealing "or detention"; and

(b) by repealing subsections (4) and (5).
