(2) Section 20 (2) (b) is amended by repealing "$100,000" and

substituting "$250,000".

Section 23 is amended by repealing "$10,000" and substituting

"$20,000".

Liability of person convicted of an offence under section 19 or 20

on the

(1) Where a person has been convicted of any offence

under section 19 or 20, the secretary for Security may,

recommendation of the Societies Notification officer, make an

order that such person shall not become an office-bearer of any

other society for a period of 5 years without the consent in

writing of the societies Notification officer.
