You are no doubt aware that the Sino-British Agreement and the Basic Law contemplate such arrangements when we change to a Special Autonomous Region (SAR), and will not be surprised to know that the Association enjoys very good relations with Highways Department personnel and its Director Mr. S.K. Kwei such that, when I receive your advice, I will discuss it with him.
I hope that with your AGM behind you you will be able to reflect on the contents of this all too brief letter and let me have your thoughts.
