I understand from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office that there is no objection to a representative

from Hong Kong attending the follow meetings :

(1) February 10 to 18 (Geneva): Committee of Experts on a Possible Protocol to the Berne Convention (Second Session)

(2) June 1 to 5 (Geneva) : Committee of Experts on the Harmonization of Laws for the Protection of Marks (Third Session)

I confirm it is proposed that Mr Peter Cheung Kam Fai should attend the meeting in February on the Berne Protocol and that I will attend the meeting in June on Trade Marks.
