As manufacturing
establishments relying on ОР are
often less flexible in meeting urgent orders due to additional transportation time for arranging materials to be sent to China
and for finished goods to return from China, some establishments not engaged in OP enhance their competitiveness by specialising in meeting small and urgent orders.

According to quite a number of manufacturing establishments not engaged in any OP in China, they have self-
owned factory premises and thus are less affected by the
currently high factory rentals and prices.
