HONG KONG: MULTILATERAL TREATIES: POLITICAL AND DIPLOMATIC

1. I attach the latest list of multilateral treaties in the political and diplomatic category which I have just received from Hong Kong. This replaces the attachment with the 18 November minute. I have highlighted the treaties which Hong Kong are proposing should continue to apply beyond 1997.

2.

Hong Kong have not said what they intend to do about item 15.21: the Constitution of the Food and Agriculture Organisation, Quebec 1945. As this is not in their draft consultation paper I presume they are not proposing its continuation.
