I. The British side proposed to make declaration of application to Hong Kong and continued application to HKSAR after 1997 in respect of the Repatriation of Seamen

and the Labour Stat. Convention 1925 (ILC No. 23) Convention 1985 (ILC No: 160), but with a reservation that Articles 1 (c), (d) and (e), 9(1), 10, 11 and 17(1) of the Labour Statistics Convention will not apply for the time-

being.

To this, the Chinese side have no objection.

The British side proposed that the Accommodation of the Crews (Fishermen) Convention 1966 (ILC NO.

126) will

not apply to Hong Kong.
