(c) related to and reinforcing the general point at (b) above is the report in BTC Hong Kong Telno 216 of 16 July 1991 quoting Lu Ping's threat to withdraw the PRC stake in Macau Airport unless Macau stopped trying to negotiate traffic rights with the USA.

If, on the other hand, there have been recent developments which suggest that Macau will be allowed some measure of control over its own air services, I would be very interested to hear of these.
