Communication from Mr. Andriessen to the Commission

Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the Community and Масао Approval of a proposal for negotiation directives before its submission to the Council.

a Council Decision authorising The attached proposal concerns the Commission to negotiate a Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the Community and Macao.

It will take the form of a non-preferential agreement and does not include any financial protocol.

The Agreement alms at the strengthening and diversification of the existing links between the Community and Macao.

Subsequently, the Commission is requested to adopt the Proposal for a Council Decision authorising the Commission to negociate a Trade and Cooperation Agreement to be concluded between the Community and Macao.
