LU PING'S COMMENTS ON CONFRONTATION
1. You asked for more details on a report in the Times which quoted Lu Ping as saying " We use reason before force". Hong Kong believe that this is a slight mistranslation. They have sent us their own translation of the Wen Wei Po article which was the source of the Times report.
