August clearing and counselling mission 20-24 August 1992
This year's was the largest clearing mission to be held in Malaysia so far, with 74 participants in Kuala Lumpur and 60 in Penang. Attendances were higher than ever in Kuala Lumpur, particularly on the opening day. The response from exhibitors was extremely favourable with the exception of some FE colleges who were disappointed by the level of interest shown in A level and BTEC courses in Britain. A panel of four exhibitors gave a pre- departure briefing to an audience of over 500 students who will be commencing courses in the UK this year.
Hotel, catering and tourism mission December 2 - 12 1992

group than originally intended, ECS Malaysia will be able to accomodate them. This training could take the form of short courses in Malaysia, external programmes, specialist seminars and consultancies as well as courses in Britain.
