Dear Mr. Macleod:

In the absence of the President, I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of the Instrument of Contribution of the Government of Hong Kong, dated 8 July 1992, in which the Government of Hong Kong undertook to make a contribution of three million United States Dollars to the replenishment of the Asian Development Fund and the Technical Assistance Special Fund.

In accordance with the terms of paragraph 3 (c) of Resolution No. 214 of the Board of Governors, the Board of Directors has approved the acceptance by the Bank of Hong Kong's contribution on the terms of the Instrument of Contribution. I also wish to record the Bank's appreciation for this generous contribution by the Government of Hong Kong.
