Dear Mrs. Radice,

Thank you for your letter of 29 April to Mr John Tsang about Mr Peter Freeman's visit to Hong Kong for the 25th

the 25th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank. I have taken over from Mr Tsang.

Much as Mr Macleod would wish to see Mr Freeman, I am afraid

afraid his schedule is so full that it is impossible to fit in a meeting on the basis of the timings mentioned in your letter. However, the Secretary for Monetary Affairs, Mr David Nendick, who is Alternate Governor for Hong Kong

for Hong Kong on the ADB, will be pleased to see Mr Freeman at 1230 pm on Monday 4 May in Room 408 at the Convention and Exhibition Centre the venue for the ADB Meeting. (Room 408 is the office of the Chairman of the ADB Meeting. Its telephone numbers are : 8244248 and 8244249 (for the Chairman's Secretary).
