As I think you already know, the Hong Kong Government have invited me on a sponsored visit, which I will be undertaking from 4-11 April. I have not yet had final details of my programme, but it will be focusing on financial and economic issues. As a result of recent events I am perhaps slightly better prepared on relevant background than I would otherwise have been. But perhaps I could put two requests to you:
please let me know if there are any particular issues you would like me to pursue/explore while I am there.
although I definitely do not want any special work undertaken, are there any existing standard bits of briefing material you think it would be useful for me to have? (I have already got all the recent HK Budget documentation).
