Capital Works Reserve Fund (CWRE))
finances the Public Works Programme,
bodies subventions to voluntary
CWRF
acquisitions,
and major systems
capital works, including computers.
and
land
for
equipment
It is funded by receipts from the sale of land (after deduction of cost of land production and the half share credited to the future Special Administrative Region Government), from premia received on modifying existing leases, donations for projects, and interest
on balances.
Capital Investment Fund
Capital injections into quasi-Government bodies such the Hong Transit Railway Corporation, as the Mass Kong Housing Authority and the Provisional Airport Authority are made from this Fund. In addition, if Trading Funds are established, their capital funding will also be provided from this source.
Income arising from investments are credited to the
Fund.
