VISIT BY MINISTER FOR TRADE TO HONG KONG AND SOUTH CHINA, 3-7 JANUARY 1993: HONG KONG BRIEFING

Mr Needham will be visiting Hong Kong and South China from 3-7 January. A final programme has not yet been agreed, but the Hong Kong leg will include meetings with Government Secretaries, established local investors and key personalities in the business community.

The Minister will be accompanied on the visit by a group of senior businessmen (list of those invited is attached) and the purpose of the visit will be to explore the opportunities for British business in the region.

3 I would be grateful if copy recipients would put in hand briefing for the visit in the usual way (see attached annex for details of briefs required).
