TELEGRAMS FOR THE GOVERNOR DURING HIS VISIT TO CANADA

Philippa Hadley called from Ottowa this afternoon to warn us that tomorrow is a bank holiday in Canada. Therefore, any telegrams sent to the Governor tomorrow should be deskby, otherwise he will not see them until Thursday 12 November.
2.
As the Governor will be in Vancouver tomorrow, any deskby telegrams sent should be classified restricted, otherwise it is not possible for Ottawa to pass them on to Vancouver.
