(TRANSFER OF UNDERTAKING) BILL 1992
1. The purpose of the Bill is to transfer the business and all existing property liabilities and provisions against the assets of Middle East Finance International Limited to the Emirates Bank International Limited. This is designed to facilitate the business of the Emirates Bank in Hong Kong. The Legal Department of Hong Kong Government recommend that the Bill should be allowed to proceed.
