have not tried to cover all items of current Hong Kong
business, but have selected a number of the key issues:
(i) Hong Kong Political Developments, including the

management of LegCo, and the appointment of liberals
to EXCO;
(ii) The 1995 Elections, including a faster pace of
democratisation, and whether we should try to seek
convergence between all aspects of Hong Kong's electoral arrangements and the Basic Law;
(iii) The first Chief Executive and Principal Officials of
the SAR Government, including the timing for
discussing individuals with the Chinese side;
(iv) The Economy and the Airport, including the question of
oversight of HKG's management of the project;
