As you know, I am calling on the Governor at 1230 on 9 November and having lunch with him.

2.

It would be very helpful if I could receive a telegram in New Delhi up-dating me on any essential points. I should also be grateful if the Governor's paper on "The Way Forward" could be telegraphed to me.

3.

I shall be in Delhi until the evening of Thursday 5 November but shall then be in Rajasthan until the evening of Sunday 8 November. If the telegrams can reach me during the day on 5 November well and good. But in any case would you please make it clear to the High Commission that I need the telegrams before I leave for Hong Kong at 0350 on Monday 9 November.
