The Governor said that one way to achieve

was for him to attend questioning sessions

in LegCo on a periodic basis, and for this to be done, LegCo could have their own elected president. PS/GH said

that such sessions should be separated from the normal

LegCo meetings. The Governor agreed and said that LegCo members could be asked to propose a subject for questions

once every month. The meeting agreed to a suggestion by CS

that such sessions should be chaired by the Governor

himself i.e. similar to arrangements for the Finance

Committee.

It was also agreed that the Governor should

have a meeting with Legco members on return from major

overseas visits.

The Governor said that the practical arrangements for this proposal should be worked out.
