Understand Allen Lee (? amongst others) had
discussions with Chinese side about possible variants
for the composition of the Election Committee earlier this year: might be asked what was the content of
these discussions. The fact that discussions took
place is clear indication that Chinese side considered composition of Committee still an open
issue.
An RTHK radio interview on 13 April with Lu Ping
indicated that the Chinese side was still studying
this question and seeking views from the Hong Kong
people.]
