Present,

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by Section 15(3) of the Official Secrets Act 1989(a) and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Official Secrets Act 1989 (Hong Kong) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 30th June 1992.

2. It is hereby provided that the Official Secrets Act shall extend, with the exceptions, adaptations and modifications specified in Schedule I to this Order, to Hong Kong.

3. The Official Secrets Act 1989 with exceptions, adaptations and modifications, as extended to Hong Kong, is set out in Schedule 2 to this Order.
