Since July 1985, Mr Michael John James HANSON of your department has been on secondment to the Hong Kong Government serving at the rank of Administrative Officer Staff Grade C. In recognition of his good performance since joining the Hong Kong Government and on the advice of the Hong Kong Public Service Commission, he has been appointed as an Administrative Officer Staff Grade B with effect from 1 January 1992.

You will have noted from our previous correspondence that Mr Hanson has accepted the offer of a further employment agreement which will expire on 30 June 1996.

I also enclose three performance appraisal reports on Mr Hanson covering the period 9 February 1989 to 13 October 1991. One of these reports has been prepared in the HM Customs & Excise format for the period 1 April 1990 to 31 March 1991. The other two are prepared the appraisal report form (GF 1(85)) used by the Administrative Service here. For your information, our annual reporting cycle for Administrative Officer Staff Grade B runs from 1 June to 31 May of the following year.
