B.E.D. de Speville, Principal Crown Counsel, be promoted to Law Officer with effect from 10 July 1992, the date on which the Promotion Board concluded their deliberations; you will note from Section C of the said GF 131 that the Public Service Commission has advised that the recommendation be approved;

a copy each of the last three staff reports of Mr. de Speville.

I should be grateful if the early approval of the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs could be obtained for the promotion of Mr. de Speville to Law Officer with effect from 10 July 1992.
