I take the point about recruitment taking place in UK,
but I wonder whether the same arrangements could be applied to our Police Officers as have been applied to our In other words the Hong HMOCS Administrative Officers?
would forward annual confidential reports Kong Government for the last 3 years together with a detailed assessment and recommendations. In the case of our Administrative Officers they will be considered by the FCO postings board and there is no need to attend any interview.
I am
not
sure
of the
detailed
mechanics of
Police selection, but we would be loathe to advise officers to go to UK at their own expense unless it was something like the final selection board interviews.
