LORD CHANCELLOR'S DEPARTMENT PAPER ON COURT DRESS

Some of you may have received the same letter as I from the Lord Chancellor's Department asking for information on court dress. When I enquired about other recipients I was told that a total of 12 geographical departments had had the letter! In the interests of speed I have already despatched to WED posts the attached telegram which takes account of my efforts to elucidate exactly what information the LCD were hoping for.
