1. You have not attached any extract from the relevant Ordinance relating to appointments of QCs in Hong Kong (there may be no such Ordinance). Mr Sarony is qualified to be appointed as a QC in England because he has been called to the English Bar for more than 10 years. But we do not know if the Hong Kong Bar has a similar rule and if so, how long Mr Sarony has been called to the Hong Kong Bar. The date on page 2 of Mr Sarony's application form probably refers to his date of call to the English Bar. You should check this with the HKG. Otherwise, Mr Sarony seems very suitable for appointment as a QC.
