As regards Mr Broadley, we think it would be unsafe to dismiss him on the current grounds. Subject to your legal advisers' views, it may be necessary to amend the Colonial Regulations and subsequently to give him a further period of notice. I would be grateful if you could let me know as soon as possible whether you agree that this is the best course of action to take.
