On seeing circular no 1033/92 on this subject, it occurs to me that some Hong Kong HMOCS officers might be very well qualified for this post. Most of the duties listed are just the sorts of functions that HMOCS officers will be used to in their jobs in Hong Kong.
2. Can I assume that Hong Kong is included in the
distribution under "Dependent Territories" and that the Civil Service Branch will thus be able to circulate this post to interested HMOCS officers? I think this would help to
reassure them that we take HMOCS officers' interest in posts in our other Dependent Territories seriously.
