Any officers who cross over now to pensionable terms now, before we announce any improved compensation package, probably have a genuine wish to have a career in Hong Kong

and are the sort of people we are looking for.

6. In all the circumstances, I recommend that the judicial officers in question be allowed to apply for membership of HMOCS up to 30 August.
