In connection with Mr. Britton's application for transfer to the permanent establishment, I have to advise as follows

(a) he passed his medical examination on

10 November 1988 (copy of Medical Examination Board's Report attached);

(b) he opts to transfer to PE terms on the date of passing his medical examination i.e. 10 November 1988;

(c) he does not wish to buy back his previous

service;

(d) he wishes to apply for enrolment as a member

of Her Majesty's Overseas Civil Service (copy of his application (in duplicate) is attached).
