Causal leave

Casual leave which counts as resident service may be granted subject to the public interest at the ૩:૩ of one day pe= completed coach of resident service. It is not earned during any period of annual leave which does not count as resident service. The sax

amount of casual leave which may be accumulated or taken at any time is 30 days. Any casual leave which remains untaken at the end of an agreement lapses.

A Head of Department may allow an officer who requires leave on grounds of urgent private affairs other excepcional circumstances to take an advance of casual leave of up to 11 days. An officer with less than four years' service may be granted sick leave up to a total of 91 days on full pay and 91 days on half pay on the recomendation of a Government Medical Officer or a private medical practitioner (see CSR 1241).
