DISCUSSIONS WITH HER MAJESTY'S GOVERNMENT
Representatives of the Committee met the Minister
the Minister of State, the Rt. Hon. A. Goodlad on 7 September 1992 to urge that matters of concern to HMOCS personnel be brought to a timely conclusion before the expiry of the new pension scheme option date at the end of
the end of this year. The Minister of State said he was fully aware of Members' concerns, and that we could anticipate a further round of discussions during the autumn.
We have written again to the Minister urging that discussions be held during October 1992. Once the outcome of these discussions is known, Members' view will be sought.
NOMINATIONS FOR THE 1992/93 COMMITTEE
Members are hereby invited to submit nominations for the 7-member Committee in accordance with Article 5.24 of the Constitution which is reproduced hereunder for ease of reference

Nominations for election to the Committee shall be in writing, signed by any two FULL Members and counter-signed by the candidate to signify his agreement and shall be delivered to the Secretary between 1st and 15th October.
A nomination form is attached.
Should more than seven nominations be received then ballot papers will be circulated to members with the notice convening the Annual General Meeting. Article 5.2 of the Constitution requires that the Annual General Meeting shall be held between 1st November and 31st December. Your Committee is looking towards a date in late November 1992.
