HMOCS: COMPENSATION

1. In July 1991 you supplied for the ODA some useful data on actual and potential HMOCS officers in post as at 30 June 1991. You also provided a projected figure of 561 HMOCS officers who would be in post on 30 June 1997, broken down into Administrative Officers (86), Police Officers (280), Judges (23) and others (172).

2. It would be most helpful if you could let us have, deskby 0109302 July, a breakdown (using the same categories) of officers in post as at 30 June 1992. Are the projected figures for 30 June 1997 still accurate? I should also be grateful if you could confirm whether the number of officers who we are assuming will be covered under "other schemes"

(Limited Compensation Scheme: 100; Special Branch Scheme: 80) is still as accurate an estimate as possible.
